Thank you for visiting My ETF Portfolio.  I believe Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) are a great vehicle to use for investing over mutual funds.  Investors should only use mutual funds if they need to.

If you are new to ETFs, you can start learning about them in the ETF 101 series articles.

Most Canadians are familiar with mutual funds investments, however, most funds fail to do better perform better than the market over the long run according to studies.  Beating the market return is tough to do, especially after fees and taxes. If you can’t beat the market, you might as well try to just keep up with the market returns using ETFs!  I hope the articles in this blog will educate the readers about the benefits of ETFs and other financial topics.

The Sample Portfolios page contains some ideas for putting together ETF portfolios.  (Don’t forget to read the Disclaimer!)
